About me

Hello! I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to return to my Alma Mater and be a part of the iconic STEM Academy staff, and support WVHS' talented student body! I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Candra, for 14 years, and we have four fun and crazy kids who keep us on our toes every day! My hobbies include cubing, backpacking, watching football and baseball, and playing games with my family.

 

After graduating high school, I graduated Cleveland State, majoring in Drafting and Design, and began working in the same field as a Draftsman here in Cleveland. Soon after, the housing market crash prevented me from working in the field I loved, and forced me to rethink my career path. This event led me toward teaching Engineering and Architecture at Cleveland High School in 2011. In 2018 I chose to finish my Bachelor's degree in Business Management, and continued to earn a Master's in Educational Leadership. Since then, I've had the opportunity to take on leadership roles in CTE, and STEM.

 

I have a passion to help students find and take ownership over their path toward postsecondary education and career opportunities. It is always a blessing to hear from past students, and see where their path has led them! I look forward to continuing this passion at my Alma Mater with the STEM Academy Staff!
