Walker Valley High School is home to a vibrant Fine Arts program that includes visual arts, choir, theater, and the award-winning Mustang Band. With nearly 250 student musicians, the Mustang Band consistently earns top honors and brings energy and excellence to every performance. In 2025, the theater department staged a full-scale production of Disney’s Newsies at the historic Tivoli Theatre, highlighting the school’s commitment to high-quality, student-led performance. At Walker Valley, the arts are a powerful part of student life—fostering creativity, collaboration, and Mustang pride.

Walker Valley High School empowers students through STEM, Dual Enrollment, and CTE programs that prepare them for college and careers. In partnership with the PIE Center (Partnerships in Industry & Education), students gain real-world experience, industry certifications, and college credit, equipping them with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed beyond high school.

Walker Valley High School offers a strong, competitive athletics program with standout teams in football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and more. In 2025, the Lady Mustangs softball team made school history by winning their first-ever TSSAA state championship. With multiple district titles and state appearances, Mustang athletes consistently demonstrate excellence, pride, and sportsmanship.
