About Me
I love teaching math! This is my 18th year teaching at Walker Valley High School. Prior to Walker Valley, I taught math at McMinn County High School for 8 years. I am living my dream teaching AP Calculus AB, Pre-Calculus, and Integrated Math 3. I also enjoy helping the Walker Valley Color Guard and the Musical Cast with their costumes.
I am originally from Newport, TN. I attended Tennessee Tech University where I met my husband, Rodney. He is a Process Engineer with Mars Chocolate in Cleveland. We live in Athens with our 5 children. Laura, 22, teaches Pre-K at City Park School in Athens. Hannah, 20, attends East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. Wilson, 17, is a senior here at Walker Valley. James and Julia are our 11 year old twins, fifth graders at Westside Elementary in Athens.
